Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Pastefield (“Pastefield”, “we”, “us”) is an online canvas for collecting and arranging images, text and links, with AI assistance. It is run by an individual sole proprietor based in Malaysia. You can reach us at support@pastefield.com.

By creating an account or using Pastefield you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age for online services where you live if that is higher.
• Sign in with an email address you control, or with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Keep your API tokens secret. Anyone holding a token can act on your boards within the limits of your plan. Revoke a token you think has leaked.
• Accounts are for one person. Do not share an account or create accounts to get around plan limits.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to what you put on Pastefield: images, text, links, boards and anything Pastefield AI creates for you. You give us a limited licence to store, copy, process and display that content only to run the service for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy when a feature needs them (for example, to Google’s Gemini API when you use Pastefield AI). We do not claim ownership and we do not sell your content.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload or paste, and for how you use it. Boards are private to your account unless you share them.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Pastefield to:

• store or share content that is illegal, sexually exploits minors, or infringes someone else’s rights;
• harass, threaten or defraud anyone, or distribute malware or spam;
• probe, attack or overload Pastefield or any other system, including using link previews or the API to reach private networks;
• get around usage limits, rate limits, payment or security controls;
• resell or provide the service to others without our written permission.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and report illegal content where the law requires.

5. AI features

Pastefield AI uses third-party AI models and web search. Its results can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and may resemble content that exists elsewhere. Review what it produces before relying on it, and do not use it as a substitute for professional advice. Monthly Pastefield AI credits depend on your plan and do not roll over.

6. Plans, billing and renewal

• Pastefield has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. Current prices and limits are on the pricing page, in US dollars.
• Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor Stripe. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
• Cancel any time from Manage subscription on the pricing page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.
• If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a period. If it still fails, your account returns to the Free plan.
• Prices may exclude taxes that apply where you live; any such tax is shown at checkout.
• We may change prices. A change applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it does.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

7. Moving to the Free plan

If you cancel or a payment fails, your boards stay. On the Free plan you cannot create boards, API tokens or Pastefield AI runs beyond the Free limits until you are back under them or upgrade again.

8. Ending your use

You may stop using Pastefield at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@pastefield.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that is used in a way that risks harm to the service or to others. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem or export your content.

9. Changes to the service

We are a small, evolving product. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you pay for without a comparable replacement, you may ask for a prorated refund of the unused part of your current period. If we ever shut Pastefield down, we will give at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your content.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Pastefield is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Pastefield is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law where you live.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Malaysia, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first; most problems are easier to solve by email.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Pastefield after that means you accept the updated terms.
